Metta of Zuris is a side character in the sci- fi fantasy novel, Helio Tropez. She was born and raised in Montreal, but at the age of 7, was separated from her mouth. A musical scout lured her into a performing arts school. She is a gifted singer/songwriter but ended up as a mind-controlled asset for the evil SIM organization. Her twin sister Tia rescues her against her will and brings her back to their ancestral home, the inner earth city of Helio Tropez. There she meets her mate, Ramu. She is one of five Pentada, a group of females who carry the genetic blueprint for their people. Fop is her animal companion - a rabbit. Pentada must reunite to help save humanity from the evil sentient AI known as SIM.
