I've been observing here for days and found out there're ways to manipulate ppl to mint more and gather profit. firstly, he/she sets 'free mint', then as the contract get momentum, that free mint option had been deleted. Check that "BoomBox", it exactly just deleted its free mint option as it got momentum. I mean...is it rly necessary to play it this way? This looks not good at all, at least for me. Plus, another kind of manipulation was modifying the max supply when the mints close to its 100%. I've witnessed one gathered 0.5e from this manipulation.
